    Autism Aide – Carmen B. Pingree Autism Center for Learning

    Utah is 2nd in the nation for number of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Families are tired and desperately need YOU for guidance and help. The Carmen B. Pingree Autism Center for Learning is seeking a patient, kind, hard-working, full time Autism Aide who cares about being a positive influence in the lives of children with autism and their families. This position will positively influence children and youth in a structured classroom setting working with preschool age children/youth with autism.     Location: Carmen B. Pingree Autism Center for Learning

          780 South Guardsman Way, SLC  84108 

     

    Schedule: M-F 8a-4p (Full-time/Full benefits)

     

    Pay: $11.69 per hour

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the development and tracking of care plan goals and reviews
    • Provide consistent behavior modification and assist with skills development in the classroom.
    • Assist autism specialists in implementing individualized and group programs that develop social and academic skills for elementary and secondary aged students with autism.
    • Assist in training staff and parents

     

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • BCaBA preferred
    • Must have two years of related experience or education in the fields of special education, psychology, social services, early childhood education or other related fields with experience working with older students with autism.
