    We are currently looking to hire a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our Childrens Oupatient – Team here at Valley Behavioral Health. The Children’s Outpatient clinic is a professional, therapeutic services organization that provides a comprehensive menu of treatment and services for Children and their families who are experiencing school or family issues, behavior problems, parenting struggles.


    What does our Licensed Mental Health Therapists Do?

    • Provide direct, evidence-based, clinical services including interviews, evaluations and assessments of clients to create treatment plans and provide quality care
    • Conducts assessments and treatment planning, to include individual, collateral and family therapy
    • Develops and follow up on care plans and other documentation as needed
    • Use milestones of development to assure the children are having their needs met while developing
    • Conducts assessments and treatment planning, to include individual, collateral and family therapy

    • Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited University/College
    • LCSW/CMHC/ACMHC/LMFT/CSW license current in the State of Utah]
    • 2 + years’ experience with a variety of substance use disorders preferred
    • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office as well as the ability to learn new software programs quickly
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Experience in Family Preservation services is preferred
