    We are looking to hire a Behavior Aide for our DBT Day Treatment Unit. The purpose of the program is to help these teens, ages 12-17 with severe emotional disturbances, acquire skills to manage emotions and behavior through learning and utilizing DBT skills. The team at DBT Day Treatment team is dedicated to providing services to teens with some of the greatest needs in developing skills to help them succeed at school, home and in the community.

     

    Responsibilities: 

    • Close supervision of adolescents in the program
    • Facilitate groups
    • Support clients through emotional or behavioral crisis utilizing DBT techniques
    • Assist with behavior management including follow thru and help in creation of behavior plans
    • Completion of daily billing using our online system

    Qualifications: 

    • 2+ years experience working with children or adolescents in a mental health program, and/or with kids who experience mental health and behavioral issues
    • Basic computer skills and efficiency with MS Office and ability to learn new applications easily
    • Transportation requirements
    • Knowledge and experience with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
    • Ability to work well with a team
