    We are seeking a full-time, compassionate and caring Social Service Worker (SSW) to join our KIDS - Children's Services team in Salt Lake City.  Kids Intensive Day Services (KIDS) is a short –term, intensive day treatment program that provides behavioral health services to children and adolescents in a structured and supportive environment. Clients and their families receive individual, family, and group therapy.  Average length of stay is 8-10 weeks.  Program hours are 9:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday through


    What do our  SSWs do? 

    • Closely supervise adolescents in the program
    • Facilitate groups
    • Support clients through emotional or behavioral crisis
    • Assist with behavior management including follow thru and help in creation of behavior plans
    • Complete daily billing using our online system

    • Utah State issued Social Service Worker (SSW) License
    • 2 years experience working with children or adolescents in a mental health program, and/or with kids who experience mental health and behavioral issues
    • Basic computer skills and efficiency with MS Office and ability to learn new applications easily
    • Group experience
    • Ability to work well with a team
