    We are seeking a full-time, compassionate, dedicated, enthusiastic and FULLY licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Valley Behavioral Health. We are community based serving our community’s highest need clients in an attempt to decrease hospitalizations and improve quality of life and stability. This team has had some great success and so we are adding this new Therapist position to be able to help even more clients!


    North Valley provides a full range of mental health and substance use services for individuals 18-55 years. We also provide a variety of Case Management services for our clients.

    Location:  1020 S Main St Ste 100 Salt Lake City, UT 84101


    Schedule:  Monday-Friday 8 to 5 – and as needed on evenings/weekends


    Starting Pay: Flexible depending on eperience

    • Provides psychotherapy to clients including individual and groups therapy
    • Treatment planning, Care coordination, Documentation
    • Knowledge of different evidenced based practice of psychotherapy, including crisis intervention skills; general personality development theories; typical community agencies, organizations and programs
    • Work with a multidisciplinary team of case managers, therapists and medical staff


    • CSW, or CMHC, ACMHC, LCSW, license current in the State of Utah
    • Must demonstrate compassion and flexibility
    • Ability to act independently, respond professionally and calmly in crisis or other situations, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and apply general principles to specific conditions
