    We are currently looking for an Attending Clinician (Lead Therapist) to work at our West Valley Clinic.  This clinic specializes in providing services to adult consumers with severe and persistent mental illness, substance use, and homelessness.  The Attending Clinician of this clinic will provide clinical support and supervision to clinical employees and interns, help support the day-to-day operations of this program, as well as maintain a clinical caseload.

    Schedule: Full-Time 8:00am – 5:00pm

               

    Location:  2948 S Redwood Rd, West Valley City, UT 84119

     

    Pay:  Depending on Experience

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise Therapists
    • Direct clinical services including interviews, evaluates and assesses clients to create treatment plans and provide quality care
    • Provides psychotherapy to clients including individual and group
    • Supervision of MSW interns and CSWs
    • Providing clinical supervision of Case Managers and SSW

    • Treatment planning, care coordination, documentation and crisis intervention
    • Effective interviewing skills and evaluation techniques
    • General knowledge of psychiatric and psycho-pharmaceutical treatment of mental disorders
    • Principles and techniques of behavior assessment and modification
    • Knowledge of general psychological principles and concepts
    • Skill development therapies
    • Accepted standards of social work ethics and clinical practice
    • Ability to act independently, respond professionally and calmly in crisis or other situations
    • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
    • Other duties may be assigned

    Qualifications

    • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited college/university
    • Must be fully licensed!
    • LCSW/CMHC/LMFT license current in the state of Utah
    • Experience working with adults a real plus!
    • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software programs quickly 
    • Successful candidates must be flexible, pro-active, solution focused and adaptable to rapid changes in the daily work environment and be resourceful in solving problems
    • Must demonstrate compassion and flexibility
