    We are searching for a Compliance Auditor to be a critical part of a strong Regulatory Oversight and Compliance team at Valley Behavioral Healt.  You will get to work in a close knit team that interfaces with all parts of Valley.  You will help complete an important job to keep us in compliance so that we can continue to serve our many clients.


    As a Compliance Auditor you will be an important member of an engaging and interactive team. This position teaches various new skills including risk assessment, statistical analysis, and compliance requirements. You will assist with the implementation of the Valley Quality Assessment and Performance Plan. You are responsible for conducting audits of documentation and other compliance practices utilizing state and federal laws, regulations, contracts, Valley policy and other guidance. The Compliance Auditor will also provide assistance to departments and staff to ensure accuracy and quality improvement.

    Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    • Complete internal audits of:
      • Services and documentation
      • Facilities
      • Personnel Files

                to ensure compliance to appropriate third party regulations, state and federal laws, regulations, contracts and Valley Policy.

    • Assist with written reports of the results of the audits as requested.
    • Assist with developing trainings regarding service audits, administrative requirements, and corporate compliance
    • Assist with external audits by third party regulations, state and federal laws, regulations, and contracts.
    • Works on joint projects with other audit staff and Valley departments to resolve service provision and documentation issues and acts as support regarding compliance related topics.
    • Assist with developing and maintaining compliance audit tools.
    • Monitor and update performance reports and the Regulatory Calendar.
    • Organize and facilitate internal meetings for external audits, projects, and trainings.
    • Assist with validating data in various reports pulled from the EHR system.
    • Assist in the investigation of Corporate compliance, Code of Conduct, and other ethical issues as related federal and state law.
    • Completes other projects and duties as assigned by manager.


    • Utilizes dept. resources and supplies responsibly to avoid waste.
    • Manages time, tasks, expectation to be completed in a 40 hour work week.



    • Maintain an active Slack presence, profile and promote co-worker usage.
    • Monitor and responds to phone calls/emails/slack posts in a timely manner.
    • Participates in Regulatory Oversight team meetings providing updates on project status, completion of audits and reports, etc.
    • Meets regularly with supervisor/Lead and team to coordinate audits, findings and responses.
