We are seeking a organized, professional Office Specialist for our Children’s Outpatient Clinic to join our team of caring professionals. Valley Behavioral Health's Children’s Outpatient clinic is a professional, therapeutic services organization that provides a comprehensive menu of treatment and services for children and their families who are experiencing school or family issues, behavior problems, parenting struggles. We have a well trained and caring staff of therapists, case managers, social workers and medical staff

 

Valley Behavioral Health, located in Salt Lake City UT, is a nonprofit network of clinics providing treatment for behavioral issues, addictions, psychiatric conditions, autism and other chronic health conditions. We offer residential facilities and outpatient treatment programs tailored to people of all ages and in every social, cultural and economic walk of life.

ScheduleFull-Time; Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

 

Pay: $12.00-13.00/hour

Responsibilities

  • Create an inviting environment to clients and visitors by providing excellent, cheerful, ever-helpful service
  • Take all screening calls and gather new patient demographic information
  • Verify and follow up on insurance information and verifications
  • Data entry of all new client information
  • Registrations of all new clients
  • Discuss programs with all potential new clients
  • Daily unit deposits
  • Schedule interpreters, process all interpreting invoices for payment
  • Covering at the front desk
  • Reminder calls
  • Processing and imaging all new client information
  • Processing all requests for records and authorization requests
  • Backup to the office manager

Qualifications

  • 2+ years previous office administration or receptionist experience   
  • Telephone etiquette, customer service,
  • Proficiency using MS Word, Excel programs, and social media with the ability to learn new software programs quickly
  • Demonstrate effective time management, multi-tasking, organization, and scheduling
  • Works well with limited oversight
  • Professionalism and the ability to work in changing and challenging situations
  • Work as an effective team member keeping client as highest focus
  • Dependability and being on time is necessary
