Be a part of helping with homelessness in Salt Lake City!  Valley Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time, dependable, resourceful, dedicated Case Manager for our Valley Woods housing program. Valley Woods offers permanent housing to those who are likely to live here for more than two years.  Residents are encouraged to increase their independence and move into the community.

If behavioral health care is what we provide, then Case Management is how.  Our case managers sit down with each client to help them set goals and then recommend care based on clinical need.  Recommended programs can be anything from outpatient services to in-home training programs.


Valley Behavioral Health, located in Salt Lake City UT,  is a nonprofit network of clinics providing treatment for behavioral issues, addictions, psychiatric conditions, autism and other chronic health conditions. We offer residential facilities and outpatient treatment programs tailored to people of all ages and in every social, cultural and economic walk of life.

Location:  3610 South 1000 West, West Valley City, UT 84119


Pay:  Commensurate with experience


Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (hours may vary with client needs)

Responsibilities May Include:
  • Assist clients to gain access to needed medical, social, educational, and other services and to ensure that services are coordinated among all agencies and providers involved.
  • Develop therapeutic relationship with clients and their families
  • Crisis intervention
  • Based on Client Care Plan:
    • Milieu supervision
    • Monitor progress
    • Teach skills
    • Link to community resources
    • Document and bill accordingly
  • Ensure continuity of care
  • May distribute medications after obtaining proper certification
  • May transport clients
  • Other duties as assigned


  • 2+ years experience and/or education in human services field
  • State issued Case Manager Certificate or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of employment.
    • If you do not have it, Valley call assist you in obtaining this license as long as you meet the above requirement.
  • Proficiency using MS Office, Social Media and the ability to learn new software programs quickly
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a real plus!
  • Meet driver qualifications of no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.  No misdemeanors involving driving, i.e. DUI, in the last year.
