Overview

 

We are seeking a dedicated Attending Case Manager to work with our Assertive Outreach Teams including our AOT Hospital Team, Jail Diversion Outreach Team, Homeless Outreach Teams, IWRAP (children’s outreach) and Tooele Assertive Outreach Team.

 

Valley Behavioral Health, located in Salt Lake City UT, is a nonprofit network of clinics providing treatment for behavioral issues, addictions, psychiatric conditions, autism and other chronic health conditions. We offer residential facilities and outpatient treatment programs tailored to people of all ages and in every social, cultural and economic walk of life.

Schedule: Full-Time 8:00am – 5:00pm

           

Location:  Various Locations, SLC/Tooele Counties

 

Pay:  Depending on Experience

  • Supervise team leads
  • Direct clinical case management services
  • Care coordination
  • Documentation
  • Crisis intervention
  • Effective interviewing skills and evaluation techniques
  • General knowledge of psychiatric and psycho-pharmaceutical treatment of mental disorders
  • Principles and techniques of behavior assessment and modification
  • Knowledge of general psychological principles and concepts
  • Accepted standards of social work ethics and clinical practice
  • Ability to act independently, respond professionally and calmly in crisis or other situations
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Other duties may be assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software programs quickly 
  • Successful candidates must be flexible, pro-active, solution focused and adaptable to rapid changes in the daily work environment and be resourceful in solving problems.
  • Must demonstrate compassion and flexibility
  • Must be dependable
