    We are seeking a full-time, compassionate, dedicated, enthusiastic and FULLY licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our Assertive Outreach Team at Valley Behavioral Health.  The Assertive Outreach Team is the home unit for Valley Behavioral Health’s highest acuity adult clients suffering from severe and persistent mental illnesses as well as numerous other co-occurring and psychosocial conditions. We are community based serving our community’s highest need clients in an attempt to decrease hospitalizations and improve quality of life and stability. This team has had some great success and so we are adding this new Therapist position to be able to help even more clients!

    Location:  550 West 700 South SLC, UT 84101

     

    Schedule:  Monday-Friday 8 to 5 – and as needed on evenings/weekends

     

    Starting Pay: Flexible depending on eperience

    Responsibilities

    • Provide individual therapeutic interventions to high acuity, SPMI clients
    • Work with a multidisciplinary team of case managers, therapists and medical staff
    • Coordinate in conjunction with other Valley units as well as community providers and organizations for best client outcomes
    • Crisis intervention and de-escalation as required

    Qualifications

    • Master's degree or higher in Social Work or Clinical Mental Health Counseling from an accredited University/College
    • LCSW or CMHC license current in the State of Utah
    • Must demonstrate compassion, flexibility and dependability
    • Must have ability to pass a background check
