Location:  4460 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City UT 84124

 

Schedule:  P/T 20 hours; M-F (flexible with your school schedule)

 

Pay: Stipends available based on number of hours worked

 

Responsibilities

Job Summary

 

  • Coordinate social media content, creation, design, and schedules to drive company strategic messages.
  • Post across multiple social media platforms for all brands including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Monitor client feedback and respond to comments or passing on to others for resolution
  • Create images for use on social media sites
  • Write social media posts, as well other content for web usage and other documents as requested
  • Proofread social media messages to assure adherence to company and department standards including clarity, grammar, consistency and tone.
  • Assists with development and execution of marketing campaigns via Social Media channels
  • Maintains awareness of emerging platforms and help brainstorm new ways to leverage them for brand development
  • Keeps ahead of competitive activities in social and digital media channels
  • Stay current on cultural trends as they're rising and responds appropriately to these trends
  • Maintains Social Media Planning Calendar both monthly and yearly, and updates Marketing Activities Calendar
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled and pursuing a four-year college degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent study
  • Junior, Senior student
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
  • Proficient with both Microsoft Windows-based and Macintosh software
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated excellent editing and proofreading skills
  • Accuracy in detailed work
  • Ability to plan, organize, and follow through on tasks
  • Strong initiative with the ability to stay on task
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and with minimal supervision
  • Acts in accordance with ethical standards and values
  • Strong ability to set and meet Key Performance Indicators

 

Preferred skills

  • 2+ years professional Social Media experience
  • Experience with Boosting Ads and Facebook Ads Manager
  • Experience with Hootsuite, Outlook, Camtasia, Final Cut Pro, and Slack
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
