The successful candidate will be highly technical in understanding the value of short iterative custom software functionality. This role requires experience in development, managing agile development techniques, project management and other successful team related IT activities. This is a dynamic role with emphasis on meeting growing needs for a multi-site Healthcare environment.

The EHR (Electronic Health Record) Manager provides project management and implementation oversight for the enterprise-wide EHR system and its related improvement, management, development and maintenance. This role will provide oversite, direction and detailed presentations on all EHR related projects and initiatives.

Location: 1141 East 3900 South Salt Lake City, UT 84124 Hours: M- F 8am - 5pm, plus some on-call availability

Starting Pay: $80K/annually (Depending on Experience)

  • Developing and managing the EHR SCRUM team in providing solutions to enterprise wide application and systems
  • Provide leadership and direction in software development practices maintaining security and best practices
  • Provide direction of Analytic processes and custom development in conjunction business and clinical needs
  • Provide documentation and presentation to IT staff and executive leadership
  • Work as a liaison of information and communication between internal departments, users and external vendors and customers.
  • Integrate with other IT staff and provide support and technical expertise
  • Be a team player and be results focused
  • Work effectively with multiple end users, and be customer service oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure, within deadlines, in a complex demanding environment


Experience in a majority of the following technologies and systems:

Agile software development, HIPAA, .NET programming, vendor management, MS Project, Visio, Project Management practices, MSSQL, Dell Spotlight, New Relic, cloud processing, EHR, Medical Records


Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (Experience may be substituted for degree)

Minimum Experience:

6 years’ experience in IT Software Development/Project Management and/or SCRUM management.

Previous experience with developing/managing an Electronic Health Record (EHR)


Preferred skills: Healthcare IT, PMP
