We are hiring Case Managers to help with our new Adult ValleyEPIC Residential Program. ValleyEPIC (Evidence-based Programs and Interventions Campus) is a premier treatment facility designed for men and women in our community with substance abuse, who may also be struggling with mental illness and homelessness.  It offers a full continuum of substance abuse treatment from residential and day programs, to intensive and traditional outpatient services.  Evidence-based interventions include individual and group therapy and classes, psychosocial-rehabilitative services, case management, drug testing, and pharmacological management. 

 

ValleyEPIC features our newly renovated 78-110 bed residential facilities, which operate in a modified therapeutic community model of treatment. This campus was designed to provide wrap-around services both onsite and in the community by integrating substance abuse treatment approaches with a special focus on trauma informed care.  The ultimate goal of ValleyEPIC is to help people break the chains of addiction, which include a successful re-entry into the community, and reduction in criminal recidivism. This is accomplished by client empowerment through personal accountability, abstinence from substance abuse, and improved positive emotional functioning.

Schedule: Full-Time Shifts 2 different types of shifts available from Monday – Sunday

  1. Day Shifts 8:00am – 4:00pm
  2. Swing Shifts 8:00am – 4:00pm

Pay:  Commensurate with experience

Responsibilities

  • Protect and monitor clients living in a residential support unit and/or other residential programs serving individuals with persistent and serious mental and substance use issues.
  • Respond to resident concerns
  • Monitor residents when taking their medications
  • Ensure a safe environment
  • Run and facilitate different types of groups
  • Document interactions with clients
  • Help with basic needs throughout the facility
  • Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be inspired by helping others.
  • 2+ years of related experience and/or education in the healthcare field
  • Utah state Case Manager Certification or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire (Valley will help received Certification once hired) 
  • Excellent boundaries and good judgment required.
  • Must be energetic, enthusiastic, reliable and work well as a member of a team.
  • Computer skills (to be able to document notes on interactions & groups)
