Location:  4460 South Highland Drive Salt Lake City, 84124
 
Schedule:  Monday - Friday; Day Shift 
 
Pay: Commensurate with experience and certification/license

Responsibilities

  • Basic health documentation using our new online medical record
  • Work within the MA/CNA scope of practice
  • Vital signs
  • Willingness to work compassionately and professionally with Valley Employees 
  • Assist in completing prior authorization, patient assistance and other medication related documentation
  • Coordinating with the Nurse Practitioner. Wellness & Lifestyle Coach and Trainers.
  • Flexibility with the changing demands of the health-care field
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Current Medical Assistant Certification or CNA License
  • 2+ years experience in behavioral health field, preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills demonstrating competency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software programs quickly
  • Proficiency with various forms of electronic communication including social media
  • Positive, winning, "Can-do" attitude
