We have a great new opportunity for a Substance Abuse Counselor with our Homeless outreach program. Our Homeless Outreach program is expanding and we need YOU to help with outreaching to Rio Grande homeless population!

Location: Downtown Salt Lake City 

 

Pay: Commensurate with Experience

 

Schedule: 40hrs Monday - Friday ; Must have flexibility in Schedule

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing knowledge of a variety of therapeutic models and theories to understand and plan intervention strategies for a variety of clients 
  • Monitoring patient progress and making changes to the therapeutic approach and best practice, evidenced based interventions based on a clients response to treatment
  • Working collaboratively with the clients treatment teams and coordinating care 
  • Coordinating with Valley programs and local agencies and organizations for clients treatment plans.
  • Outreach to the homeless populations 

Qualifications

  • Must hold a SUDC Licensure credential in good standing
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Excellent Verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills
  • Time management & organizational skills
  • Great organizational skills.
  • Has FUN!
