The Office Specialist – Med Team Scheduler will serve as a valuable member of our team of caring professionals in our West Valley Clinic. Come be a part of a great and successful team dedicated to providing exceptional outcomes for our clients. This newly renovated location provides a full range of mental health and substance use services for adults in the west side of Salt Lake City.


This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operations in the fast paced environment of the clinic with the goal of a positive patient experience with every encounter. Every time.  If you enjoy providing excellent customer service and have a welcoming demeanor, we’d like to meet you!


Location:  2948 South Redwood Road, West Valley City, UT 84119


Schedule:  M-F 7:30am – 3:30pm


Pay: $12.00/hour

  • Provide friendly professional customer service
  • Greeting clients and their families
  • Answering phones and professionally engaging in conversations
  • Maintain staff calendars and schedule clients in appropriate times
  • Assisting the clinical staff with support functions as needed
  • Taking co-payments from clients and working with different insurance agencies
  • Become familiar with basic insurance and billing concepts
  • Coordinate care with community partners, such as representatives of insurance companies, hospitals, and primary care doctors
  • Possibly opening or closing the clinic
  • Filing
  • Data entry


  • 2+ years of office support and reception experience preferred
  • Preference will be given to bilingual Spanish/English speaking
  • Experience in a medical or physician’s office is a plus
  • Must be comfortable and professional on the phone and in person
  • Proficiency using MS Office, social media as well as the ability to learn new software programs quickly
