Valley Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time, dedicated, and proactive Medical Business Manager to oversee several of our Medical and Laboratory positions within various locations throughout Salt Lake City and the surrounding area.

This position is critical in ensuring the daily operation of these programs runs smoothly to provide outstanding service to our employees and patients, as well as ensuring a congruence to culture and financial outcomes. Location:  Salt Lake City, UT


Schedule:  M-F; 8-5 (flexibility required)


Pay:  Commensurate with experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience with business management, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Experience managing budgets and deciphering billing data
  • Skilled at building and leading teams of professionals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new software programs quickly
  • Exceptional customer service skills, both verbal and written


  • Provide administrative supervision and oversight to the medical staff and Valley Lab.
  • Assist in recruiting and hiring process and marketing for the programs
  • Coordinate and train staff to ensure an understanding of business unit/area plans and how each team member serves to provide fulfillment
  • Work to develop a solid understanding of business/area plan and the critical elements for fulfillment. This includes establishing and maintaining a positive working relationship with designated financial manager
  • Track and report productivity of the medical staff
  • Prepare financial and productivity reports and review budget variances
  • Provide routine feedback and suggestions to Business Directors, CMO and Director of Nursing
  • Demonstrating a strong commitment to customer and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Ensure a congruence to culture
  • Other duties as assigned
