The EHR support manager is the liaison between the technical development, management and maintenance of our enterprise EHR (electronic health record) system and support for our company users. The ideal candidate will have an optimal mix of customer service skills, healthcare experience, and IT/technical troubleshooting abilities.

This position will be ultimately responsible for all EHR support to front-end users, writing technical documentation and will assist in project management, setting development priorities, and testing/build validation. This is a dynamic role with emphasis on meeting growing needs for a multi-site Healthcare environment.

 Location: 1141 East 3900 South Salt Lake City, UT 84124 (plus on-site)

Hours: M- F 8am - 5pm, plus some on-call availability

Starting Pay: $50K/annually (Depending on Experience)

Key elements for success include:

  • Supporting, managing, maintaining EHR/MRH enterprise system.
  • Custom software application testing, requirements gathering, end user training and communication
  • Working in an agile SCRUM team with short sprints and high deliverables
  • Running SQL queries, maintaining support documentation and performance metrics.
  • Working knowledge of project management and execution of multiple projects.
  • Integrate with other IT staff and provide support and technical and application expertise.
  • Be a team player and be results focused.
  • Work effectively with multiple end users, and be customer service oriented.
  • Ability to work under pressure, within deadlines, in a complex demanding environment.


Experience in a majority of the following technologies and systems:

Agile software development, HIPAA, SCRUM team, MS Project, Visio, Project, Dell Spotlight, New Relic, cloud EHR/MHR, Medical Records

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field. Experience may be substituted for degree.

Minimum Experience: 3 years’ experience with heavy involvement in the managing, support or maintenance of an EHR system.

Preferred skills: Healthcare IT, SCRUM, SQL
