Valley Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time, compassionate, enthusiastic and FULLY licensed Mental Health Therapist to lead our group of caring, professional therapists at our Children’s Outpatient Services program. This position requires a strong commitment to helping children succeed as well as a desire to help train and lead other Therapists to empower them so they may become the best provider they can possibly be!

 

Children’s Outpatient Services are available for youth with a mental health diagnosis from infancy through age 18. Services include assessments, family, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, abuse and trauma treatment and medication management. The focus is to decrease the child’s symptoms in order to enhance their level of functioning and overall well-being.

Locations:  East: Salt Lake City and West: Kearns, UT

 

Schedule:  Monday-Friday 8 to 5 – Flexible

 

Pay: Commensurate with experience

Responsibilities

  • Clinical supervision and training of assigned staff
  • Execution of approved modules/Clinical Oversight/Staff Training
  • Vigilance in monitoring all aspects of service delivery to ensure strict adherence to brand integrity
  • Meet with clients to complete a therapeutic assessment
  • Develop & review care plans
  • Ensure a congruence to culture
  • Runs groups & works with clients one on one
  • Ability to provide both individual and group therapy
  • Community outreach as necessary

Qualifications

  • Must be fully licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC) from an accredited University/College
  • License current in the State of Utah and in good standing on DOPL
  • At least 2 years of experience in managing teams of professionals
  • Must be 21+
  • Must demonstrate compassion, flexibility and dependability
  • Must have ability to pass a background check
