Are you inspired by helping others?  Become a leader who makes a difference!  Valley Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time, dedicated, solution-focused, proactive team driven Program Manager to manage the day-to-day operations for our community preschool and childcare program.

 

Be the catalyst for ensuring that the highest quality care is given and that there is economical and efficient performance. Mentor staff for quality of care, performance and identifies areas of improvement. Effectively lead and direct the work of others with a wide degree of creativity and latitude expected. 

 

Location:  780 South 1100 East, SLC, Utah 84108

 

Schedule:  Monday-Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm

 

Pay:  Commensurate with experience

Responsibilities

  • Set program performance standards and deploy resources as necessary to ensure a comprehensive, coordinated and integrated Preschool, Childcare, and Inclusion opportunity for children in the autism program
  • Help develop key performance indicators by quadrant to be used in monitoring goals and standards
  • Ensure adequate future planning for VBH in order to meet new or changing needs of the community
  • Change or modify programs and/or staff, as needed to help VBH meet company goals
  • Represent VBH at designated meetings with citizen groups, community partners and regulatory partners
  • Ensure that programs and child care is monitored and evaluated in order to enhance accountability and improve service delivery
  • Responsible for day-to-day programming and problem solving 
  • Ensure compliance with VBH policies and procedures
  • Ensure that programs are in compliance with local, state and federal law guidelines 
  • In collaboration with the director, develop and monitor a budget for the program
  • Ensure timely and accurate data collection
  • Monitor customer satisfaction
  • Develop new funding sources for program
  • Support the mission and values of VBH and the Pingree Center
  • Assume responsibility for staff morale and motivation with programs supervised by maintaining open line of communication
  • Hires, promotes, disciplines and terminates employees in order to facilitate program goals

The Carmen B. Pingree Autism Center of Learning has opened my eyes to the difference that early treatment can make on the lives of those with autism. I appreciate their passion and commitment to science-based treatments that show tangible results. It is their passion to improve lives, along with the visionary way they are reaching out to the whole community, that excites me about the organization. I’m impressed by the scope of what they are trying to build. They also did a great job in showing me how my contribution would make a specific and meaningful impact that would help them achieve their grand plan of creating an autism center of learning that assists the entire community. It made me want to join their cause and be a part of it all.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or other related field
  • 1+ years experience with management
  • 3+ years in education, childcare, or behavioral health field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new software programs quickly
