We are seeking a Behavior Specialist to work within a dynamic elementary school team and provide treatment to elementary aged children who experience severe emotional disturbances. This is a self-contained, mental health services classroom with our Children's Behavior Therapy Unit (CBTU) located at Frost Elementary School.

Location: 3444 West 4400 South, WVC, 84119
Schedule: Work M-F, 40 hours per week. 8:15 - 4:15. This is a 10 month position that runs concurrent with a traditional school calendar, with elongated summer program with 44 days of leave without pay.
Pay: Commensurate with Experience

CBTU is a collaborative classroom with Salt Lake School District serving elementary aged clients who are in need of social emotional learning to support their behavioral health and academic needs. The team at CBTU is dedicated to providing services to some of the most in need students in Salt Lake school district to help them develop skills to succeed at school, home and in the community.
