Valley Behavioral Health is seeking a full time, enthusiastic, dedicated, organized, and resourceful Events and Fundraising Coordinator for our Carmen B. Pingree Center for Autism. The Events and Fundraising Coordinator will assist with the creation of and implementation of all Pingree wide events.

Location: 4460 S. Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84124

Schedule: 40 hours M-F; some nights and weekends required

Compensation: Based on experience and qualifications

This position will assist in the creation of strategies to maximize fundraising as well as the scheduling, coordination, implementation, management and delivery of engaging and dynamic events.


  • A strong interpersonal and communication skill set
  • A demonstrated ability to work effectively with and gain the respect and support of varied and changing constituencies
  • The ability to plan, set goals and objectives, organize, and follow through
  • Organizational, project planning and leadership skills
  • Ability to navigate social media proficiently
  • Computer literate: Knowledge of Word and Excel and ability to learn database software
  • 1 to 3 years experience in special events, fundraising, marketing/social media
  • Forward thinking
  • Pro-active team player
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
  • Fun, personable, resilient, flexible, willing to step in when needed
