Are you passionate about being an instrument of change in the world? There is a growing epidemic of adults who need help.  Valley Behavioral Health is seeking a Case Manager for our CORE for Women program.
CORE for Women is an 16 bed Adult Residential program located in Salt Lake serving SPMI, criminal recidivist populations with a variety of psychiatric and substance use disorders. This position will change lives, heal families and enhance communities.  You will LOVE working with this team of fun, dedicated, compassionate care givers at Valley Behavioral Health.
Location: 1228 South 900 East SLC, UT 84105 (Womens Location)
Schedule:  A couple of different open positions:
1. Full Time: Thursday - Sunday 4:00pm-12:00am
2. Part Time: Saturday & Sunday 8:00am-4:00pm and/or 4:00pm-12:00am
3. PRN positions - Either 8am-4pm, 4pm-12am or 12am-8am (PRN means "as needed" - when a full-time case manager is out for any reason, we call the "PRN" staff to "substitute" for them.)

  • Protect and monitor clients living in a residential support unit and/or other residential programs serving individuals with persistent and serious mental and substance use issues.
  • Respond to resident concerns
  • Monitor residents when taking their medications
  • Ensure a safe environment
  • Run and facilitate different types of groups
  • Document interactions with clients
  • Help with basic needs throughout the facility
  • Other duties may be assigned



  • Must be inspired by helping others.
  • 2+ years of related experience and/or education in the healthcare field
  • Utah state Case Manager Certification or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire (Valley will help received Certification once hired) 
  • Excellent boundaries and good judgment required.
  • Must be energetic, enthusiastic, reliable and work well as a member of a team.
  • Computer skills (to be able to document notes on interactions & groups)
