Location:  4460 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City 84124

 

Schedule:  Monday – Friday; 8-5  

 

Pay:  Commensurate with experience

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes wage and salary reports and data to make compensation plan recommendations.
  • Oversees equal employment opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits.
  • Researches background information and consults legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with federal and state law.
  • Develops and maintains database with employee data and metrics
  • Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.
  • Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
  • Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
  • Advises departments on FMLA, disability, documentation, onboarding
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Administers benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance, pension plans, employee assistance.
  • Contracts with outside suppliers to provide employee services, such as temporary employees, search firms, or relocation services.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four college or University
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new software programs quickly
  • Exceptional customer-service skills demonstrating an ability to maintain a friendly, professional disposition when interacting with our staff as well as the public.
  • Ability to focus and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
  • Demonstrate strict confidentiality 
  • Pro-active team focus
